Welcome to the Union!

The Department of Student Activities serves as the resource hub for all student organizations. Student Activities provides many services to the Texas A&M-Kingsville student organizations, such as registering organizations, producing directories, providing counseling and advising services, and helping student groups with operational assistance. In addition to serving all student groups, Student Activities also provides specialized leadership programs and full time support to Greek Life, the Hoggie Days Orientation Program, the Javelina Mentor Program, and the Campus Activities Board. The Department also includes activities related to Recreational Sports and Activities. Believing extra-curricular involvement is essential to student success, the TAMUK Department of Student Activities completes your education.

The annual Miss Texas A&M University-Kingsville scholarship pageant will soon be upon us! This year, the pageant is broken down into two days. Candidates will have their personal interviews with the judges on Friday, April 23 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and the pageant will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 pm in Jones Auditorium. A private reception for candidates and their families will immediately follow. Once again, we are excited about the pageant production. Our theme this year is “All American Girl”. Campus Activity Board

• Singled Out: Singing Duo Cloud Chase from Nashville, Tn will be featured at the TAMUK version of the hit MTV dating game. Be a part of this interactive show and find a match for your fellow students this Valentines Day.

• Comedy Night: Come LOL as we welcome Pete Lee! As seen as a Semi-Finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing, YoutTube and coming soon in his own one hour special airing on Comedy Central (August 2010).

• Movie Night: Join us for Chris Rock's last movie "Good Hair". A 2009 sundance winner and filled with some of the largest celebrities in the industry, only Chris Rock can take this comedic approach to an interesting topic
