The Dean of Students is responsible for oversight of the offices of Memorial Student
Union and Student Activities which includes "Hoggie Days" Orientation, Student Union Building. The Dean also provides oversight for the Post Office Substation, Women's Center, and the Student Shuttle Service. In addition, the position maintains a liaison relationship with Sodexho Food Services and Barnes and Noble Bookstore. The Dean of Students also provides oversight of the student disciplinary system, coordinates assessment activities in the area of student activities, and assists the Vice President for Student Affairs with assigned projects and/or activities.
