A LEADERSHIP PROGRAM DESIGNED TO GIVE STUDENTS A LEADING EDGE

ExCEL is designed to develop Texas A&M Kingsville's leaders to tomorrow by enhancing integrity and building motivation and by providing a positive environment for the growth of leadership and social skills necessary to maximize one’s Javelina potential.

ExCEL 2007-2008 will offer a variety of opportunities for freshmen/transfer students to enhance their knowledge of the campus community through a series of fun and fact filled sessions and university sponsored events.

The benefits of ExCEL members include:

• Development of leadership skills through interactive meetings and informational sessions

• The opportunity to meet and network with student leaders and top administrators on campus

• Planning of and/or participating in social events and community service projects

• Attending leadership conferences for FREE!

• Recognition at the annual Student Leadership Award Banquet

• Eligibility for nominations for student awards and scholarships

• Building your resume!
