Dear Texas A&M University-Kingsville Family Members: Welcome to the Texas A&M University-Kingsville family and to the 2009-2010 academic year. Our campus is a close knit community, which strives to help individuals grow intellectually and socially and we are delighted your student decided to become a member of our family. As a parent or guardian, you play an essential role in your student’s college education. We encourage you to stay involved with your student. For this reason, we are offering a Hoggie Days Family Orientation Program to provide valuable information regarding student life, academics, and financial matters. This program also addresses the transition that you and your student will encounter as they take this important step toward their future. The Family Orientation Program is free to attend. Family members are only responsible for their meals while on-campus. We look forward to sharing information about Texas A&M University-Kingsville with you. Sincerely, Chaye Pena, Assistant Director
