Summer/Fall 2008
New student orientation is your opportunity to register for classes at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Since Hoggie Days is designed to make you feel at home, Orientation Leaders have been carefully selected to provide you with individual attention and information. At orientation you will be familiarized with campus, meet future classmates and friends, register for classes, and learn about the resources available at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
How to Register for Hoggie Days:
You must be officially accepted into the university as a new student.
Be sure to have your student K number available. Your K mumber is your student ID number and may be found on your acceptance letter.
Complete the on-line registration form found on the Homepage and click submit.
After you’ve registered on-line, you will receive a receipt of registration. It may take up to two weeks to receive a confirmation email as your admission status is being checked. Please check your e-mail frequently as this will be our primary means of communication.
Cancellations
Please notify the Office of Memorial Student Union/Student Activities by phone, email, or mail seven days prior to the session that you are scheduled to attend in order to cancel.

What if I need to change my session date?
There are a limited number of spaces available for each academic college. Sessions will fill quickly, especially the May and June sessions. If for any reason you need to change from one session to another your options may be limited depending on your timing. Registration is a live system, first-come first-serve. Be sure to contact us via e-mail at orientation@tamuk.edu to inform us of your request for a change. We will make the change for you.
One-day versus Two-Day
Students can choose between a one and two-day orientation experience. We strongly encourage those students who will be living in the hall during the semesters to choose the two-day orientation to get a true over-night experience.
