The Steinke Physical Education Center is home of the Kinesiology Department. It is a widely used facility consisting of classrooms, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, natatorium, bowling alley and fitness center. Although its primary function is education many recreational activities do take place in the facility. The athletic department uses the gymnasium to host their basketball games (men and women) and Volleyball games.

When not being utilized for educational or athletic purposes the SPEC is open to students, faculty and staff. It is highly used for recreational purposes. The Intramural program host its volleyball and basketball games in the SPEC along with other special events.
