The BIGGER Event is a one day service project which provides the students of Texas A&M University - Kingsville an opportunity to say "thank you" to the surrounding community for their continued support. The BIGGER Event stems from The Big Event, an event originating as an idea from Joe Nussbaum, then Vice President of the Student Government Association at Texas A&M in 1982, The Big Event has since become the largest, one-day, student run, service project in the nation. The BIGGER Event is sponosored by the Texas A&M University - Kingsville Student Government Association and the Texas A&M University System Chancellor's Student Advisory Board (CSAB). The BIGGER Event will take place March 24, 2007, at A&M System Universities across the state of Texas. With the support of the faculty, staff, administration, and most importantly the students this event will help to enhance the bond between the students at A&M - Kingsville and the community.

The BIGGER Event is a proud member of the Student Government Association and is a recognized event of Texas A&M University - Kingsville.
