Fall Semester 2007

Aug. 15                        Payment deadline, fall 2007 registration.  A $35 late payment fee will be assessed for registering and/or paying after this date.

Aug. 20                       General Faculty/Staff meeting, Jones Auditorium.

Aug. 25                        First class meeting of all Saturday students.

Aug. 29-Sept. 7           Permission from the advisor and professor to register or change classes.

Sept. 3                         Labor Day holiday.

Sept. 7                         5 p.m. Deadline for December graduates to complete Change of Name Request Form, Registrar.

Sept. 7                         5 p.m. NO REGISTRATION BEYOND THIS POINT.  12th Class Day.

Sept. 14                       5 p.m. Last day for December graduates to file Application for Candidacy Forms with the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and to pay graduation fees.

Sept. 26                       Five-week point.

Oct. 2                          May or August graduates to complete Application for Candidacy Form with deans of their colleges.

Oct. 16-21                   Homecoming Week activities.

Oct. 13                        Homecoming Game

Oct. 4                          All five-week grades due in the Office of the Registrar.

Oct. 29                        Completion of 60% of semester for Title IV funds, Financial Aid

Final Examination Schedule: Fall 2007

I.   Final examination for regular students, December 7-8 and 10-13, 2007.

II.    This examination schedule is to be followed rigidly in all instances. Exceptions to this schedule must be made through the Dean of the College and approved by the Provost. A student having three exams scheduled on the same date may request that the professor of the middle exam allow an alternate time.
