DEAN
OF STUDENTS The
dean of students is the senior student advocate on campus life and
responsible to ensure an environment conducive to personal and academic
success. He also is responsible for oversight of the offices of Student
Activities, Memorial Student Union Building, Residence Life and Post
Office Substation. He also serves as the advisor to the Student Government
Association. In addition, the position maintains a liaison relationship
with Sodexho Food Services and Barnes and Noble Bookstore. The Dean of
Students also provides oversight of the student disciplinary system,
coordinates assessment activities in the area of student life and works
with the vice president for student affairs with assigned projects and/or
activities.
