We create a selfless and collaborative environment to inspire students, foster personal growth, encourage community engagement and promote global citizenship.

In concert with the mission of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, a myriad of important educational experiences that occur outside the formal classroom contribute to the intellectual and social development of students. Texas A&M-Kingsville students are developing new academic skills, clarifying values, exploring life and career directions and gaining a sense of personal identity. In addition to intellectual growth, these tasks are critical components of the university experience.

GOALS OF STUDENT AFFAIRS 

Ø      Recruit and retain students who have the potential to complete a college degree and to compete in a global society.

Ø      Enhance student learning by creating and implementing programs, services and activities that foster the intellectual, social, moral, ethical, spiritual and physical development of students. 

Ø      Create a campus climate that fosters a sense of community, values differences and is responsive to individuals and their cultures.

Ø      Deliver high quality customer services by providing adequate fiscal resources, appropriate facilities and well-trained, competent staff.
