TRAFFIC VIOLATION-APPEAL FORM

Failure to appear before the Traffic Appeals Board at the selected time and date will result in forfeiture of right to appeal (Unless appeal is done in writing-See Below). It is the responsibility of the person making the appeal to furnish the information requested below so that he/she can be notified of any change in the date they received their citation. It is important to understand that if your appeal is denied you have 14 calendar days to pay your citation from the date of your appeal. If fees are not paid within the 14 calendar days, a late fee of $20.00 will be added to your fine. Please note: If you cannot attend the appeal hearing due to extenuating circumstances, you may appeal in writing, but you must understand that it is in your best interest to be present at the hearing so that members of the appeals board can ask questions and gather information which pertains to your hearing. Appeals in writing are no substitute for being present on your own behalf. Please submit a separate appeal for each violation and make every effort to attend your Traffic Violation Hearing. Understand that the above information pertains to payment of fines and filing for an appeal.
